Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Rack Cases

Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Rack Cases are crafted from rotationally-molded polyethylene, a process which makes these cases virtually indestructible. They include full size front and rear removable lids with recessed steel "butterfly" twist latches that secure the lids onto the case. Integral ergonomic side handles provide easy access for carrying the case. Non-slip rubber feet on the bottom of the case mate with indentations on the top for easy stacking of multiple Pro Series cases.

Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Racks include threaded front and rear rails in the industry standard 19 inch width, in a variety of heights and in two case depths. Equipment racks and their vertical mounting rails have standardized threaded hole spacing and rack panel heights for mounting equipment. Designated in Units, one rack unit - 1U- is equivalent to a 19 inch wide panel that is slightly less than 1.75 inches, for panel clearance. For example, a rack designation of 4U has a vertical panel space that is about 7 inches tall, and the 6U rack has 10.5 inches of vertical panel space, and so on, with the overall case structure height always greater. Professional equipment manufacturers produce rack mounted equipment that is typically 1U, 2U, 3U or multiples of those heights. Rack shelves, panels, screws and drawers are available to accommodate radio equipment and accessories that are not built for rack mounting.
