Heil Sound HS-2 Hand Switches are ergonomically designed pistol-grip hand switches combining functionality with ease of use.
A typical application would be to key a transceiver when using a microphone without PTT, or in a noisy environment where VOX operation is useless or erratic. They feature a pistol grip, so you can operate the switch as a trigger, rather than as a tiring thumb-operated push button.
Heil Sound HS-2 pistol grip hand switches terminate in a 1/4 in. phone plug for connection to the 1/4 in. female pigtail of the Heil Microphone Adapter Cables and Headset Adapter Cables, thus providing push-to-talk (PTT) control of almost any transceiver and microphone combination.
