Hamplus Band Data Interface Cables

Hamplus Band Data Interface Cables provide band switching data from specific transceivers to their compatible Hamplus Smart Antenna Control Consoles and Smart Desktop Antenna Switches.

The first letter of each cable part number indicates the transceiver brand:

* E - Elecraft
* F- FlexRadio
* I - Icom
* K - Kenwood
* Y - Yaesu

The cable part number numeral indicates the compatible Hamplus Smart Console types:

* Series 6 cables with -6 and -61 in the part number are for AS-603 and AS-61 Series--6 Antenna 3 Radio Hamplus Controllers that have a 6-pin mini-DIN RADIO port.

* Series 12 cables with -12 in the part number are for MBD-12, MBD-8G, MBD-62 Hamplus Controllers that have a rear panel DB9F RADIO port. These are used for combination systems including AS-602C, AS-601U and AS-801C.

* Series 8 cables with -8 in the part number are for the discontinued MBD-8F and MBD-8E Hamplus Controllers that have DB25F RADIO port.

* Cables with BCD in the part number have a special BCD band data to serial converter. These cables deliver a programed band frequency data string to the Hamplus device which it reads in the Icom CI-V protocol at 19200 baud. Many BCD cables also have radio port extension connectors that facilitate simultaneous connection to a PC or other peripherals.
