Thanks to a computer-optimized design, they offer a 50 Ω feedpoint allowing direct connection with coaxial cable, minimizing power loss while maximizing performance. Log-Periodic Dipole Array (LPDA) antennas feature a unique design that enables broadband frequency coverage with stable gain and excellent impedance matching. These properties make them ideal for applications requiring high efficiency and precision including for amateur radio or commercial communications. A key advantage of this design is its higher performance compared to verticals and Discone antennas. While discone antennas are known for their omnidirectional radiation, log-periodic antennas offer superior directivity, resulting in better signal gain and higher efficiency—especially for weak signal reception and targeted signal transmission.
