Kent Morse Keys Straight Keys are engineered to the highest standards and are precision-machined from solid brass. Long life and trouble-free performance are achieved by the use of silver plated contacts and sealed instrument ball race bearings, which ensure totally free pivot movement with minimum friction and side play. Contact adjustment is achieved by fine-pitched threaded screws with knurled instrument heads, giving micro-precision adjustment.
Their SK-1 key features a beautifully finished machined-wood base that is weighted for stability. The underside is trimmed with green baize and employs non-slip feet. Their KT-1 uses a steel base that is finished in black. Both keys are built with the same attention to detail and high engineering standards.
