MFJ 1720S Tri-Band Handheld Antennas
With interest in 6-meter repeaters and simplex 50 MHz QSOs, MFJ 1720S Tri-Band Handheld Antennas are a natural for the newer 6/2/440 handhelds. These convenient antennas are just 19 in. tall.
They're a 5/8 wave on 440 MHz to give you a hefty 3.2 dBi gain. On 2 Meters, you have a quarter-wave antenna with a 2.15 dBi gain. On 6 Meters, they operate as an electrical quarter-wave. They are precision-tuned at the factory for consistently low SWR. High-Q design and low-loss construction guarantee maximum radiated power!
Their super-flexible element is equipped with an SMA male connector for use on many newer rigs, and it uses phasing coils to provide matching on all three bands.
