MFJ 1724B VHF/UHF Mobile Antennas greatly extend your range over any dual band 2-meter/70-centimeter handheld's antenna.
Ruggedly built for mobile use, each MFJ 1724B has a very powerful 3.5 in. diameter magnet and a flexible 19-in. stainless steel whip. The magnet mount will keep your antenna fastened to your car at top highway speeds! These convenient little antennas handle up to 150 watts (300 W PEP!) on 2-meters and 70-centimeters! Nominally low SWR on both bands will keep your transceiver running cool.
MFJ 1724B VHF Mobile Antennas include 12 ft. of coax terminated with a PL-259 connector. The coax easily sneaks through a closed car window or door. A PL-259 to BNC handheld adapter is included.
