Overview

Moonraker Whizz Whips

With Moonraker Whizz Whips you may operate your QRP HF/VHF/UHF portable transceiver across the spectrum!

Whizz Whips are completely self-contained, all-band 51-inch telescoping whip antennas with an integrated tuner. They are super-convenient antennas for receiving and transmitting that mount right to your radio.

These adjustable telescopic whips free your rig from coax cables, mounts, tripods, masts and trees, and give you remarkable performance from desktop to picnic table, with no ground required. Now that's portable! Imagine - finally you can take your go-anywhere rig anywhere you want to go!

Whizz Whips enable you to transmit from 3.5 to 450 MHz. On HF, the integrated tuner will generally provide an excellent match (better than 2:1) and permit loading the antenna perfectly.

You may operate the Whizz Whip in different phased modes on VHF and UHF, such as 1/4 wave, 5/8, 3/4 or even 1-1/4 wavelengths, depending on frequency. This makes the Whizz Whip the only HF portable antenna that not only operates VHF and UHF, but does it with gain!

Some Whizz Whip details:

With its shirt-pocket size and incredible convenience, you'll never be without an antenna again. Go portable! Get out there! Try one of these Moonraker Whizz Whips.
