M2 Antennas 2MCP14 2 Meter Circularly Polarized Beams
M2 Antennas 2MCP14 2 Meter Circularly Polarized Beams are the right choice for satellite operations with basic light-duty azimuth-elevation rotator systems. They feature a specially configured driven elements and phasing feeder system and are typically assembled to achieve right-hand circular polarization needed for most satellite operations. An optional polarity switch is available. A single feedline is used to connect 2MCP14 antennas to the 2 meter section of the satellite transceiver. A second feedline typically connects a mated 436CP30 70cm Circularly Polarized Beam, mounted at the other end of a cross boom, to the same satellite transceiver.
2MCP14 beams are light, medium performance circularly polarized antenna designed to work across the two meter amateur band. Optimum match and gain are between 144 & 147 MHz for the satellite band. Computer design techniques help keep spurious side lobes low down for optimum signal to noise ratios. This antenna features CNC machined, O-ring and silicone-gel sealed driven element assemblies that are common to all M2 Yagi antennas. They insure years of trouble free performance regardless of weather.
