Palstar AT2KD Differential Antenna Tuners

Palstar AT2KD Differential Antenna Tuners are American-made, impedance-matching networks that can optimize the performance of your antenna with your transceiver or SWL receiver. Offering 160 through 6 meter band coverage and up to 2,000 watts PEP power handling, simply put, AT2KD's are the highest quality differential-T antenna tuner on the market!

Palstar AT2KD tuners have two impedance-matching controls, with a 6:1 Vernier reduction drive for capacitor tuning with precision and accuracy, and a turns counter indexed inductor crank handle to facilitate coarse tuning adjustments. Using a T-type circuit configuration, with an innovative dual-stator differential variable capacitor design, operation is simplified by reducing the number of knobs and eliminating false peaks while tuning. This design fits into in a more compact case that takes up less room.

AT2KD tuners feature a precision roller inductor with a steatite ceramic core for excellent power handling and a wide tuning range. With a rugged 3 kV, 6-position selector switch, AT2KD tuners offer unbalanced tuned and bypass outputs for two antennas. A third unbalanced tuned output may be used on any antenna, even with an external balun for balanced line feeders. Also, one bypass output may be used for direct connection to another antenna or dummy load. The input and output connectors are SO-239 (UHF female) connectors.

Palstar AT2KD tuners features a new LED backlit peak and peak hold and a dual-movement cross needle power and SWR meter, with a frequency-compensated coupler and a 2-position 300 W/3000 W power range selector. Built into an attractive case, AT2KD front panels and top covers are powdercoated and their chassis are made with 11 ga. (0.090 in.) iridite-treated aluminum. A 12 Vdc power connector and cable are provided for the meter circuit for each tuner.
