The high-quality wide range driver is specifically positioned into a custom designed medium density fiber cabinet which is lined internally with a variety of specially selected acoustical foam materials. The resulting sound of Miranda S is clear and sharp, with a frequency response that makes it easy to understand both voice and CW signals. Bass is present and well controlled when listening to broadcast signals. The midrange curve suits voice frequencies so that they stand out above the QRM, all with the warmth of a hand-crafted wooden speaker that reduces listener fatigue.
