Permatex Clear RTV Silicone
Permatex Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant s designed to provide a waterproof, flexible, weather-resistant seal around metal, glass, rubber, and more. It's designed for both interior and exterior use. It may be used to attach and seal Guy Line End Caps onto Phillystran.
However, this sealant it is NOT recommended for use on electronic devices. This sealant contains acetic acid which accelerates curing time and gives it that unmistakable odor of vinegar, but it also adversely affects circuit board traces and soldered connections.
For electronic devices that require sealing, use the DX Engineering Approved Sealant, Permatex 82180 Ultra Black RTV Silicone, which is available here, from DX Engineering.
