REZ Antenna Systems Z-25SS Telescopic Whips are engineered for high-performance portable HF operations. Designed for demanding field use—including POTA, SOTA, Field Day, and other serious deployments, they offer exceptional performance, rapid setup, and maximum versatility.

When paired with the Scout base, the Z-25SS functions as a resonant ¼-wave vertical from 30 through 6 meters. Add the Scout 4025 loading coil for easy tuning on 40 meters, or pair it with the Recon 40 for full 40–6-meter coverage. Pairing the Z-25SS with the Ranger 80 system enables operation from 80 through 6 meters.

Rated for 1,000W PEP, these Z-25SS whips combine rugged durability, wide band coverage, and field-ready reliability—making them the antenna of choice for operators who demand maximum reach and performance in portable HF systems.

IMPORTANT: Due to the extended length of the Z-25SS whips, it is essential to properly secure the mounting tripod. When using the [Z] Pod, we recommend a minimum of 15 lbs. of ballast. In conditions with wind gusts exceeding 12 mph, additional weighting may be necessary to ensure stability and safe operation.
