Sangean WR-2 Table-Top Radios show true elegance in their classic, artistic, and functional design! Plus, their advanced receiver circuitry brings distant AM and FM stations right into your room!
Their wood enclosure (except WR-2CL) is acoustically balanced and the large, ported, front-firing speaker provides a rich, full sound. Dynamic bass compensation and a 7 Watt amplifier give this small radio an outstanding audio presence. Although eminently modern, these radios leave a "classic" impression.
The WR-2s have some nice, advanced features. You may control these radios with their included IR remote control. They will display Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS) text messages from any RBDS-encoding FM station. Their RBDS clock-set function will acquire the time from the RBDS signal and load it into your radio for you... automatically! Their clock may be set to display 12 or 24-hour time. The LCD backlight has three different levels of brightness or may be turned off.
