TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits

TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits are complete self-standing tower kits that are strong, yet affordable. Get your HF, VHF or UHF antenna up and into the clear with TBX self-supporting towers—priced competitively to guyed towers, but they fit into a smaller area where guys cannot be installed! These towers feature a strong X Brace design made of pre-galvanized steel with beaded channel legs and riveted construction. The kits use offset-mounting sections, a method that yields a lighter-weight tower that "steps down" in size with each section. Sections are supplied pre-assembled and arrive with the required hardware for an easy installation.

TBX Towers are available in 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 ft. heights. Choose a package from the Standard Tower TBX series, the Heavy-Duty Tower THBX series, or the Extra Heavy-Duty Towers THDBX series. All packages include tower sections, top plate, rotor plate, mast mount and sleeve tube. Standard series towers include an 8 ft. x 1-1/4 in. mast. Each TBX tower package includes a top plate and a rotor plate that are appropriately sized for the provided top section. They're drilled to accommodate mounting stationary mast brackets and clamps.

The TBX Rotor Plates have elongated holes that accommodate most CDE, Hy-Gain and Yaesu rotator models. Rotor plates are not intended for mounting thrust bearings and are not drilled for them.

If your plans include using a 2 in. mast and thrust bearing, order one of the Extra Heavy-Duty THDBX series tower packages. They have TP-3 Top Plates which are large enough for a 2 in. mast thrust bearing and will accommodate field drilling the thrust bearing mounting holes. This includes the DX Engineering Advanced Design Thrust Bearing model DXE-TB-300 or the old style ROHN TB-3. Drilling is also required for mounting a Yaesu thrust bearing.
