TBX Tower Sections

DX Engineering is pleased to offer TBX Tower Sections as an alternative choice for hams that want to assemble their own free-standing tower. Although there are only eleven discrete sections in the TBX stable, these sections may be assembled into Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Extra Heavy-Duty towers of varying height.

TBX Tower Sections are lattice-style offset-mounting sections; each 8 ft. section offsets at the top to accept the next, smaller section. This method yields a tower that "steps down" in size the higher they go, but does so with sections that are essentially straight. Made of heavy-gauge contoured steel with riveted "X" bracing, these tower sections are also pre-galvanized for weather resistance and long life. Each section is supplied pre-assembled and arrives with the required hardware for an easy installation.

To choose sections for your tower needs, start with a TBX1A top section for standard strength, a TBX2A top section for Heavy-Duty strength, or a TBX3A top section for Extra Heavy-Duty strength, and then add subsequently numbered sections to reach your desired height. For example, a TBX1A plus a TBX2 plus a TBX3 equals a 24 ft. TBX tower! Simply choose your base mount, fixed or hinged, and assemble. TBX top sections include a rotor plate and top plate, too!
