Vibroplex VIBROCUBE Iambic Keyer Paddles

Vibroplex VIBROCUBE Iambic Keyer Paddles are the latest offering from Scott Robbins, W4PA, the owner of Vibroplex. Again and again he heard from hams how we don't like our small, lightweight CW paddles sliding around on the operating table when in use. When he took over Vibroplex in 2009, he vowed to create a large paddle that would stay in place on the desk and accommodate his large hand comfortably. The result of many hours of conversations with the ham community is VIBROCUBE.

VIBROCUBE Keyer Paddles register just under 6 pounds on the scale! Their bases are USA-forged cold rolled steel and their upper components are zinc, steel and brass. Their finger pieces are hard red acrylic. Instead of magnetic tensioning, they use the tried and true spring loaded tensioning method, which provides a greater range of tension settings than magnets allow.

Hefty, but not oversized, their bases measure 3-1/2 in. square and 1-1/2 in. high, and with their rubber feet installed VIBROCUBE keyers have an overall height of 4-1/4 in. Their oversize acrylic finger pieces are 2-1/8 in. at their tallest point. Large paddles accommodate a large hand easily and take minimal hand movement to use.

These are not fragile, delicate devices. VIBROCUBE keyer paddles are TOUGH. All parts except the finger pieces and the two decorative top jewels are metal. The Standard bases, mainframes, and lever bars are electrostatic powdercoated in a wrinkle black finish. It's difficult to chip or scratch this paint. Deluxe VIBROCUBE keyer paddles are all chrome. Adjustment components are chromed brass and the contact points are coin-grade silver. Four non-skid rubber feet are affixed to the bottom for extra non-movement stability.

VIBROCUBE keyer paddles are made and all assembly is done in our facility in Knoxville, TN.

There are three affordable VIBROCUBE versions available. The Standard version uses our standard pivoting trunion pins and screws and is available in black finish. The Standard Upgraded version is built exactly like the Standard, except the pivoting trunion pins are rounded off and the upper and lower trunion screws have an industrial jewel installed. The Deluxe version is a work of art in all-chrome, also with the jeweled movements installed.
