West Mountain Radio CLRstereo ClearSpeech® Dual Noise Reduction DSP

West Mountain Radio CLRstereo ClearSpeech® Dual Noise Reduction DSP – an extremely effective tool for improving communication clarity. Dynamic DSP noise reduction adapts to changes in the interference and signal. It passes voice and CW while attenuating atmospheric noise, hum, hiss, whistles, and static. It effectively removes heterodynes, ignition noise, lightning crashes, power line noise. QSO's are more fun without all the background noise. The DSP recognizes the intermittent nature of CW and allows it to pass noise free.

CLRstereo features independent "Left" and "Right" channels, each with DSP filter level, Tone and Volume (audio level) controls and a red "CLIP" LED to indicate when that channel input level is too high. Next to the front panel toggle Power switch is a green LED to indicate powered condition.

CLRstereo can process two channels simultaneously, for use with two separate radios or with a radio that features two separate receivers, such as Main and SUB. Please note that the CLRstereo does not contain a power amplifier. While the output is sufficient for a headphone or low level speakers, the CLRstereo is intended to be connected to an amplified speaker system.
