Yaesu FTM-310DR C4FM/FM 144/430MHz Dual Band Digital Mobile Transceivers deliver an impressive power output of 55 watts on VHF and 50 watts on UHF, and selectable power levels of 25W and 5W for flexible operation. Audio performance is strong, featuring a total output of 6 watts—split between a 3W front speaker and a 3W main-unit speaker enhanced by AESS (Acoustic Enhanced Speaker System) technology. Audio Signal Processing (ASP) can be added to the FTM-310DR by installing the optional SPU-1 module (sold separately).

The clear, easy-to-read full dot-matrix display ensures excellent visibility of settings and status, with selectable backlight color options in amber or white for personalized viewing comfort.

Dual receive functionality allows simultaneous C4FM/C4FM monitoring across various combinations including V/U, V/V, U/V, and U/U. Both models support Super-DX sensitivity boost for enhanced reception.

The PMG (Primary Memory Group) function enables monitoring of up to five channels with both automatic and manual modes. MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) organizes memory channels either by band or user-defined criteria. Users can customize their experience with the CFL (Custom Function List), selecting up to nine functions from a menu of 127 options.

Band scope functionality supports up to 47 channels and allows toggling between dual receive and scope views. AMS (Automatic Mode Select) intelligently switches between C4FM digital and FM analog modes. For group communication, DG-ID and GM features use ID codes for streamlined monitoring and interaction.

Integrated GPS includes a 66-channel high-sensitivity receiver, and APRS® is supported at both 1200bps and 9600bps for data communication. WiRES-X is fully supported for digital voice and data networking. Receiver coverage spans from 108MHz to 550MHz on both main and sub bands.

Bluetooth® capability is available via the optional BU-5 module, enabling hands-free operation, and the control head is angle-adjustable with the optional SJMK-500 mounting kit. Microphone jacks are conveniently located on both the head and main unit.
