Yaesu M-90MS Microphone and Stand Mounting Kits

Yaesu M-90MS Microphone and Stand Mounting Kits bring the great Yaesu microphone sound to your boom or mic stand, for a completely new way to enjoy your Yaesu transceiver. The Yaesu M-90MS microphone head utilizes a finely tuned dynamic element to deliver rich low to mid-frequency response, desirable for a clear and concise conversational sound that is pleasing to the ear of the listener. The oversize dynamic microphone element and windscreen of the M-90MS is designed to accentuate voice input from the front and limit ambient noise and sounds from the side. The attached microphone cable features a PTT hand switch with an 8-pin modular connector termination. The M-90MS may be used with virtually any Yaesu HF transceiver* with some models requiring the optional SCU-53 8-pin modular jack to 8-pin round plug adapter**. For difficult band conditions, a built-in low-cut filter creates clear and crisp audio characteristics by shaping the low frequency response (cut off at 340Hz, -6dB/octave). An integrated isolation transformer enhances the audio quality of this fine microphone.

The PTT switch operates in a press-to-engage, press-to-disengage manner. When pressed, the transceiver enters transmit mode and remains active until the switch is pressed again, at which point it returns to receive mode. Be aware that transmit mode will stay engaged until manually disengaged—ensure the switch is pressed again to avoid unintended continuous transmission.

The Yaesu M-90MS comes with the PTT hand switch and 8-pin modular connector cable that is directly compatible with the FT-450/D, FT-817/ND, FT-818ND, FT-857/D, FT-891, FT-897/D, FT-900, FT-991A, and FTDX10

NOTE: The M-90MS includes the boom or stand mount bracket. Boom and mic stands are not included. The M-90MS microphone head does not have a detachable connector.
