Alpha Antenna Heavy Duty Survivor Tripods are a heavy-duty, specialized support system designed to provide exceptional stability for antenna setups, even in high wind conditions. Ideal for Alpha Antenna models such as the HexTenna, FMJ, and Alpha Loop series, this tripod features an extremely stable footprint that typically requires guying only in very strong winds. Its three independently adjustable legs allow for balanced deployment on uneven terrain, while the tripod offers a total height of 5.25-feet and collapses to a compact size of approximately 42x8x8 inches for easy transport. A heavy-duty clasp keeps the tripod securely closed during storage, and an integrated webbed shoulder strap ensures convenient carrying. Each leg includes a step and ground spike for secure anchoring, and the legs can be positioned nearly flat for maximum stability when conditions demand. Additional weight can be applied to the legs for enhanced stability. Quick clamp release levers make assembly fast and simple, ensuring reliable performance in the field.

Alpha Antenna Surveyor Tripod Adapter Mounts allow you to adapt a 5/8 x 11 tpi male connection on a surveyor tripod to a female 3/8 x 24 connection, allowing you to use any item that has a standard 3/8 x 24 post on the tripod. Manufactured from high quality aluminum, the adapter also features a tapered design on the 3/8 x 24 side, allowing for places to attach different clip sizes for grounding purposes.
