Amerite Tower Base Plates
American Tower Company Amerite Tower Base Plates allow you to mount your AME-25, 45 or 55 series tower using several different methods. Amerite base plates cannot be used in self-supporting applications… they must be used for bracketed or guyed installations only. Amerite drive-in base plates are for mounting a bracketed or guyed tower directly onto tightly compacted soil; intended for short term and temporary installations. They are made of steel and are completely galvanized. Towers mounted on drive-in base plates MUST be bracketed or guyed at all times. They are designed to prevent the bottom of a temporary tower from "kicking out" and causing tower collapse. They are great for Field Day and other interim applications. Amerite hinged tower base plates allow you to mount your Amerite 25G-series tower using six 1/2 in. x 12 in. base bolts embedded in the concrete pier. Amerite Tower Short Bases
Amerite Tower Short Bases are designed to be embedded directly in concrete as the base for a tower installation. They are set into the tower foundation hole in the ground with gravel for tower leg drainage and then concrete is poured around the short base. The bottoms of short base legs are not drilled for this reason and cannot be used and mid-tower sections. Amerite Tower Short Bases feature the standard triangular design of extra heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel tubing and continuous solid rod braces for maximum strength. These short bases are compatible with their respective 25, 45 and 55 series towers of both brands.
