Comet GMRS UHF Base Vertical Antennas
Comet GMRS UHF Base Vertical Antennas are designed for 462-468 MHz GMRS and UHF Business Band coverage. This antenna features very good gain and a rugged sealed fiberglass single Radome with no joints, achieving a very high wind speed rating. The included mast mounting bracket and hardware attaches to the standard base collar which protects the UHF female (SO-239) connector from moisture, dust and pollution. In virtually all conditions, the Comet GMRS Base Vertical provides excellent service, year after year. These ground-independent antennas stand approximately 37 inches tall and feature an open coil design that enhances durability—especially in the event of contact with tree limbs or other obstacles. A built-in manual fold-over hinge makes it easy to lower the antenna when parking in garages or navigating low-clearance areas. Rated for up to 120 watts, these antennas are built to deliver years of dependable, trouble-free service. NOTE: These antennas are NOT for amateur bands.
