Comet CP-45 Telescopic Aluminum Masts
Comet CP-45 Telescopic Aluminum Masts are collapsible four-section masts. They may be extended to 14 ft., 8 in. and will collapse to a mere 54 in. These masts weigh only 3 lbs. Designed for light duty and stealthy applications, their maximum antenna load is 22 lbs. These masts are a maximum diameter of 1-5/16 in. and a minimum of 7/8 in., and friction-lock with their built-in nylon compression bushings. They incorporate a handy guy-bracket and 45 ft. of guy line. These CP-45 masts are designed to be supported by the companion Comet YS-45 Aluminum Tripods, sold separately. Comet Antenna HFJ-350 Series are Multi-Band Portable Telescopic Antennas that bring new flexibility to portable operations. The combination of the base coil with five taps and a plug wire along with the 10-section telescopic whip top section provides a lightweight antenna that is easy to use. Make a quick manual change of the plug tap connection and whip length to tune any HF band. The antenna UHF base includes a side terminal for your counterpoise connection. A base coil section provides the additional band capability. Use on your UHF mount or adapter with a counterpoise wire and tuner for best results. These Comet innovative handheld scanner antennas are small, but mighty! Their W100RX antennas can pull in the signals and the double fold-over hinge allows these antennas to fold down alongside your handheld--even while attached to your belt! The telescoping element has 8 sections including the base and extended length of about 40 in. overall. Its collapsed length is 8 in. including connector and hinge. Comet YS-45 Portable Aluminum Tripods are the perfect companion to Comet's CP-45 Telescopic Aluminum Masts, sold separately. These portable tripods have a minimum length of 34 in. and their maximum extended mast length is 55 in. The tripod leg radius is only 24 in. Their maximum antenna load is 22 lbs., including the CP-45 mast. These tripods weigh only 3 lbs., 4 oz. and feature a friction lock with a nylon bushing.
