DX Engineering Mobile Whip Antennas
DX Engineering Mobile Whip Antennas are the classic 102 in. whip made from the finest heat treated 17-7 PH tapered stainless steel, which resists bending and kinking. 17-7 PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance, and minimum distortion upon heat treatment. These stainless steel whip antennas are tough. Dissipation tips reduce unwanted static buildup and they fit all 3/8-24 in. threaded mounts. The WP-102 is the standard 102 in. whip, shipped in a 104 in. tube. They resist bending and kinking and are ideal for mobile and portable operations and for Active Receive Antenna Systems. They are also great for use with mobile antenna tuners. No matter what your HF whip antenna application may be, get your stainless steel Mobile Whip Antennas from DX Engineering!

DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Antenna Capacity Hats
DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Antenna Capacity Hat Systems are designed to increase the bandwidth and efficiency of single-band mobile vertical antennas, such as those from Hustler and Pro Am, or on mobile "screwdriver-type" adjustable frequency antennas. These hats can even shorten the height of the antenna by eliminating the need for a whip while maintaining the same or a lower resonant frequency. The DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ antenna capacity hats can also be used on the Hustler 4, 5, and 6-BTV series antennas by experienced antenna experimenters. When an antenna is shortened from its naturally resonant length, the feed point becomes capacitive. To offset the additional capacitance, it is common to add inductance in the form of a loading coil to restore the resonance. However, the additional inductor increases the resistance, which increases the loss in the antenna. DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Antenna Capacity Hats solve the problem by using a capacity hat--a series of horizontal rods that helps to counter the effects of shortened vertical antennas. DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Antenna Capacity Hats Systems include: * Precision-machined 6061 T6 hub * Stainless steel set screws * 18 pre-cut stainless steel rods: * 3 sets of 6 in. stainless steel rods * 3 sets of 12 in. stainless steel rods * 3 sets of 24 in. stainless steel rods * 24 plastic safety tips * Aluminum hub Note: Whenever the DX Engineering "Documentation" tab is available, please look at the associated files for additional product information. DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Capacity Hat Rods
DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Capacity Hat Rods are used at the top of a vertical to increase the efficiency and gain of your antennas. They can also be used on mobile and portable verticals with the Hot Rodz™ Hubs, and on base antennas, such as the Hustler 4, 5, and 6-BTV series antennas by experienced antenna practitioners. DX Engineering Hot Rodz™ Capacity Hat Rods are longer and allow greater range of adjustment on your capacity hat systems.

DX Engineering DualDuck Portable HT/Mobile VHF/UHF Antenna Mounts
DX Engineering DualDuck Portable HT/Mobile VHF/UHF Antenna Mounts are designed for operators who need to elevate their VHF/UHF handheld or mobile transceiver antennas for improved signal performance. By raising the antenna, users can significantly enhance both transmission and reception—making this mount an excellent choice for Field Day, camping trips, or emergency communications setups. It supports two identical HT antennas, one acting as the radiator and the other as a counterpoise, with recommended options like the Comet CMA-SMA-24 dual-band whip. The mount fits securely over DXE NOMAD fiberglass push-up masts and includes guy line holes for added stability. A BNC connector allows for feedline attachment, and two SMA connectors accommodate the HT whips. One right-angle SMA adapter is included for vertical configurations, with replacements available separately. Operators using mobile transceivers will need to select the appropriate coax and adapter for their setup.
