DX Engineering RG-213/U 50-ohm Bulk Coaxial Cable
DX Engineering RG-213/U is a low-loss, 50-ohm, standard-spec Coaxial Cable with a non-contaminating Type II PVC jacket. This is unterminated bulk cable that is sold by the foot. See Coaxial Cable Assemblies for coax with connectors. Specially manufactured for DX Engineering, RG-213/U feedline is perfect for outdoor use due to its excellent UV resistance and durability in direct-bury applications. Specially suited for high-power amateur stations, RG-213/U provides a lower loss solution for long cable runs at any power level. Featuring a solid polyethylene dielectric, this is the coax that withstands constant movement and flexing on tower mounted rotatable and directional beam antennas. DXE-213U is recommended by contest station owner K3LR for installation at tower top as "rotator loop" coax for HF and VHF. DX Engineering RG-213/U is easily terminated with standard solder or crimp style PL-259 and N connectors designed for RG-8 sized, 0.405 in. cables. DX Engineering Next Generation hybrid PL259s with crimp shield, solder center attachment are also a great choice for DXE-213U coax cable. DX Engineering Tinned Copper Radial Wire
DX Engineering Tinned Copper Radial Wire is the same wire as used by the most successful contest stations and DX enthusiasts for their ground-mounted vertical antennas. This 16 AWG tinned solid copper wire is an extremely cost effective solution for the high-count, full-size ground radial wire systems that are required for top-performing HF vertical antenna installations. This is especially true for 4-element Four Square Array Systems, 3-element ProStack Arrays, and 2-element Dual Vertical Arrays. Why is this wire the absolute best choice for any ground-mounted vertical antenna? Because, DX Engineering Tinned Copper Radial Wire will last much longer in a variety of soil conditions as compared to bare copper, copper coated steel and aluminum wires. Unfortunately, radials deployed with those other wire types actually corrode and degrade rather quickly, but do so slowly enough that the operator may not easily perceive that degradation in terms of antenna system performance. Full radial system integrity is maintained for a much greater number of years with tinned copper wire. Depending upon soil type, installations with DXE-TCRW16 will maintain vertical antenna performance for many, many years… and even decades. DXE-TCRW16 is available in small, easy to handle spools in lengths of 500 feet (DXE-TCRW16-500), 1,000 feet (DXE-TCRW-1000), 2,500 feet (DXE-TCRW16-2500) and 5,000 feet (DXE-TCRW16-5000). NOTE: To prevent accelerated corrosion and the possibility of noise, do not use metal anchor pins (lawn staples) on Tinned Copper Radial Wire. Use only DXE-STPL-100BD Biodegradable Anchor Pins to hold down bare wire radials. DX Engineering Tinned Copper Radial Wire is the right choice for long lasting top-performance radial systems for your ground-mounted vertical antenna system.

DX Engineering Four-Square Array Three-Quarter Wave Tuned Cables
DX Engineering Four-Square Array Three-Quarter Wave Tuned Cables are offered for your antenna system where the recommended quarter wave cables will be too short for your installation. There are cases where the phasing controller relay unit must be mounted away from the exact physical center of the array, such as when elevated verticals or elevated vertical dipoles are used. Three-quarter wavelength tuned cables are then required. The electrical dimensions of these cables are critical to system performance. They're made from the highest quality waterproof, direct bury 75-ohm RG-11/U gas-injected low-loss foam coaxial cable. Their length differs from a free-space dimension by the velocity factor of the specific cable type. These cables, manufactured to DX Engineering specifications, have a velocity factor of 0.84, providing the maximum physical length to allow for easy burial and routing from the feedpoint of the antenna to the controller relay unit. DX Engineering Four-Square Array Three-Quarter Wave Tuned Cables must be ordered for your desired frequency. These custom built tuned coaxial cable assemblies ordered from DX Engineering are hand crafted and electronically tuned to a specific HF frequency. Typically, customers request that they are tuned to the center or slightly below the center of their antenna array band, depending upon their planned modes of operation. After placing your order, please inform us of the desired frequency for your cables by e-mailing dxengineering@dxengineering.com or by calling 800-777-0703 or 330-572-3200. You may leave a message after business hours. Custom cable assembly orders will process after we receive your frequency information. Please contact DX Engineering Technical Support if additional assistance is needed. We will contact you if we have any questions about your special orders.

DX Engineering RT4500HD Rotator Control Extension Cables
DX Engineering RT4500HD Rotator Control Extension Cables are premium pre-assembled cables with the appropriate 4-pin mating connectors installed for the DX Engineering RT4500HD Rotator. They eliminate the time-consuming task of soldering two additional optional connectors onto a long control cable. Designed for durability, these 4-conductor cable assemblies are rugged, yet flexible and are built to last with heavy duty stranded copper conductors and industry leading direct-bury polyethylene (PE) black jacket that is impervious to water and highly resistant to sunlight UV. Two 12AWG wires are for DC supply to the rotator motor and two 18AWG wires are for the rotator Pulse Sensor. One end of the cable features an interlocking weather-sealed 4-pin DXE-LP20-F female connector that mates with the RT4500HD rotator pigtail male connector. The 4-pin DXE-LP20-M cable mount male connector on the opposite end of this extension cable is intended to be connected to the controller pigtail. The DXE-LP20-F Rotator Control Line cable-mount female connector supplied with the RT4500HD, along with any convenient length of DXE-CW1812OR Heavy-Duty Spec Rotator Cable (sold separately), can be used to make a permanent pigtail with appropriate ring terminals for the screw terminal connections on the rotator controller. The use of the pigtail and this Rotator Control Extension Cable with mating connectors supports easy disconnection of the controller for additional surge protection and for simplified equipment repositioning. In this arrangement, the female receptacle connectors are appropriately used to supply power. Cable mounted male connector exposed pins are never energized when they are disconnected from their mate, thereby eliminating an accidental short circuit to ground. NOTE: At the appropriate point along the run, this cable may be cut, split, prepared and terminated for connection to a grounded surge protection device. Control Line Surge Protection, such as the DXE-CLTB-M or DXE-IS-RCT, is recommended to be installed at the grounding point of the tower base.
