DX Engineering Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Connector Hand Tools and Tool Kits are ready to help you make professional quality crimped coaxial cable assemblies, Powerpole® connections and many other popular-size wire terminations. Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Tools are precision made heavy-duty commercial grade hand crimp tools. They are multi-purpose interchangeable-die tools made from high-quality carbon steel with a tough black-oxide finish for corrosion resistance and durability. These easy-to-use ratcheting crimpers are ergonomically shaped to produce extra manual power, with soft non-slip dual-color thermoplastic rubber grips for comfortable and positive connector crimping results. DX Engineering PL-259 Connector Assembly Tools
DX Engineering PL-259 Connector Assembly Tools are designed for threading solder-type PL-259 connector sleeves onto the vinyl jacket of RG-8/U, RG-213/U and other similar-sized 0.405 nominal diameter cables. First, properly prepare the coaxial cable and then place the threaded sleeve of the PL-259 connector over the end of the coaxial cable. Start the coaxial cable end into the body of the connector and make sure that all of the strands of the center conductor of the cable are inserted into the center pin. Use these patented* DX Engineering PL-259 connector assembly tools and thread the connector body onto the stripped cable end. Tighten them until the PL-259 connector is fully seated on the coaxial cable. A visual guide at the end allows for easy viewing of the cable center conductor for proper depth installation. DX Engineering Tube Deburring Tools
Designed and manufactured in the USA, DX Engineering Tube Deburring Tools feature hardened steel cutting surfaces arranged in a conical shape. Both the interior and exterior of the tool's cone may be used to smooth the rough edges of the inside and outside of the cut ends of pipe and tubing. Its rotational symmetry allows easy reaming and deburring rough-cut tubing edges with minimum effort. The UT-2125 is usable on all tubing and pipe sizes from 3/8 in. to 2-1/8 in. O.D. The UT-3500 covers sizes from 1-7/8 in. to 3-1/2 in. O.D. The complete tool kit, model UT-KIT-DBR, includes both sizes of conical tools, a small hand deburrer and a half round file. DX Engineering Tube Deburring Tools are reversible, so they are ideal to deburr both ID and OD of aluminum tubing prior to telescoping the sections together. Then place the prepared coaxial cable end into the body of the Type-N connector and make sure that all of the strands of the cable's center conductor are inserted into the center pin.
