DX Engineering RG-8X 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies are made from our very flexible low-loss, gas-injected foam dielectric feedline. Featuring stranded copper center, braided copper shield and a non-contaminating Type IIa PVC jacket good for direct burial, our DXE-8XDX series cable assemblies are intended for moderate-power HF stations or mobile applications where short runs and flexibility are key factors. Slightly larger than RG-58 cable, DX Engineering RG-8X offers better handling characteristics, very good shielding, and lower loss.

RG-8X 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies come complete with high quality silver plated PTFE dielectric PL-259s. Their machine-crimped shields feature 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability. All DX Engineering Cable Assemblies are Hi-Pot tested and heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate in service longevity.
