DX Engineering Premium Antenna Wire
DX Engineering Premium Antenna Wire helps you achieve top performance and long, trouble-free operation at a very reasonable cost. This PVC-insulated 14 AWG stranded copper wire is comprised of 19 strands of 27 AWG solid copper. Its relaxed PVC insulation is UV-resistant and rolls out easily, unlike wire that is commonly available at "big-box" stores, which coils and kinks. Our antenna wire is well worth its price for its features, especially for ease in handling. Over a decade of successful wire antenna installations have proven this insulated copper wire is up to the task. Conservatively rated at 92.5 lbs. breaking strength, this wire is strong enough for virtually every wire antenna application. Suggested installation includes supporting the feedpoint to properly handle the weight of the feedline, and balun if used, so that the wires only need to support themselves. When placed under extreme stress, this copper wire will stretch before breaking, allowing it to serve in a longer lasting installation for wire antennas of almost any style. Available in several pre-cut coiled lengths as well as on 500 and 1,000 ft. rolls, UV-resistant black insulated 14 AWG stranded copper DX Engineering Antenna Wire lasts longer than bare wire exposed to the elements. Use it with confidence for your wire antenna projects and get on the air!

DX Engineering Transceiver Amplifier Keying Cables
DX Engineering Transceiver Amplifier Keying Cables connect the "ground on transmit" or contact closure provided by the radio that is required to make an HF amplifier switch from "receive mode" to "transmit and amplify mode" when using PTT (push-to-talk), VOX or break-in CW keying. DX Engineering Transceiver Amplifier Keying Cables are made for specific transceiver models that have special DIN or mini-DIN connector accessory ports which provide the transceiver's only connections for linear amplifier keying. One type of amplifier keying cable has one RCA phono plug for the amplifier relay jack, which is all that is needed. When the transceiver PTT (push-to-talk) is keyed, the RCA plug center pin is connected to the shield (and chassis ground in most cases) to key the amp relay or its solid state keying circuit. Instead of a direct connection to the amp relay, the RCA plug may be connected to the keying input of an accessory device (DXE-KEYLINE-3, DXE-RTR-2 or DXE-NCC-2), amplifier keying interface (DXE-SV-KR or legacy Ameritron ARB-704 or KD9SV Products SV-KR) or other amp keying line interrupt device, such as a meter or an array controller. Each has a keying input and a keying output for the amplifier relay or another accessory. Another type of amplifier keying cable has two RCA phono plugs, one RED plug for the amplifier relay jack and one WHITE plug for ALC (Automatic Level Control) voltage from the amplifier. The legacy ALC connection does not need to be used with present era solid state transceivers and most modern amplifiers. ALC was required for use on transmitters with tube finals. Some modern amplifiers do not have an ALC output connector. If the amplifier does not have ALC it is okay to leave the WHITE plug disconnected. Order your DX Engineering Transceiver Amplifier Keying Cables to connect to your transceiver accessory port for keying amplifiers, sequencers, receive-transmit interfaces, buffer relays, and other accessories. NOTE: To enable the function of this keying cable, some late model Kenwood transceivers require menu activation of the amplifier keying circuit.

DX Engineering Transceiver Key Line Splitter
DX Engineering Transceiver Key Line Splitter – a handy gadget designed to be connected to the 'Ground-On-Transmit' amplifier keying line of a transceiver. This single-input, triple-output passive DC only unit provides multiple PTT keying lines, two for other accessories in addition to one for the amplifier. All four connectors are female RCA phono. Many special Amateur Radio devices, from receive accessories to simple phasing units and even automatic antenna switches, need to use the same T/R keying line as your amplifier. But they don't have a keying line pass-through for the amplifier. The Transceiver Key Line Splitter is that handy item that is needed in almost every shack! It's a great gift item for the ham who has everything! Developed by Ed, K8IV, you can think of it as an "IV" line for your radio's amp keying output, allowing more than just an amplifier to switch when your transceiver goes to transmit. Each keying output of this device is guarded with a separate 45V 2A Schottky diode, providing ground-on-transmit isolation between each accessory keying line. Therefore, this splitter will keep the load or voltage of any one device from affecting the others. But, the KEYLINE-3 input depends upon the voltage and current rating of your transceiver's transistor or relay keying circuit for an amplifier, so check your manual for the total that it will safely handle. Most accessory keying lines send 13.8 Vdc at only a few milliamps, so this combination typically works without issue. The KEYLINE-3 is passive, meaning that it requires no power to function. It is not a transistor buffer and it has no relays. We really want to call it the "Key Line 3.14" - (key line pi). You know… three outputs from one input with a total of four phono female connectors. But we can't call it a "pie" because someone might think they are buying some kind of non-raspberry micro-PC or something! No, it's just a splitter. So, here's the DX Engineering Transceiver Key Line Splitter with ground-on transmit for each port. Get your slice today!

DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire
DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire stands the test of time. Strong and resilient, this wire is the experimenter and operator's choice when the antenna will be subjected to the tug-of-war between branches of trees and high wind and ice-loading environments. This copper coated steel wire provides unmatched strength and performance without stretching and will do so for many years. This is an extra high strength annealed wire with a break strength of 224 ft. lbs. Well suited for Amateur Radio and Shortwave Listening (SWL) wire antenna projects, DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire is ready for construction of permanent commercial and emergency antennas, as well. Use it for dipoles, folded dipoles, inverted-vees, delta loops, sky loops and dozens of other transmit and receive wire antenna systems. The long spans of Beverage and large loop antennas are much too easily stretched and broken when deployed with aluminum fence wire or soft copper. Use DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire for stronger, better tensioned and longer lasting Beverage, loop and long wire antenna installations. NOTE: DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire is not an appropriate choice for use as radial wire and should not be used in contact with soil. Choose bare solid DX Engineering Tinned Copper Radial Wire or insulated stranded copper DX Engineering Premium Radial Wire or Radial Wire Kits. The caution label on these wire spools reads "WARNING - Wire/Cable May Spring Apart and Cause Injury - Wear Safety Glasses and Gloves." This copper plated steel wire is stiff, springy and will unspool quickly, yet it will retain a coiled temper. Use care to secure and pay out this wire under tension, to prevent kinks from being set that will weakening the span. If you prefer an easier to use product, choose the insulated stranded copper DX Engineering Premium Antenna Wire. Order the length that works for your antenna project needs right here. DX Engineering Copperweld® Antenna Wire will put your station on the air and keep it there longer and stronger!

DX Engineering Key Line Combiner
DX Engineering Key Line Combiner – DXE-3RIGKEYLINE is another handy gadget that can take the ground-on-transmit amplifier keying lines from up to three transceivers or other devices and connect them to one amplifier or accessory. All four connectors are female RCA phono. After we came out with the DXE-KEYLINE-3 for one radio to key an amp and two other accessories, then the requests for this DXE-3RIGKEYLINE combiner came in. It really isn't surprising that many hams have multiple transceivers but only one amplifier. So, while a coax switch handles the RF, now the DXE-3RIG-KEYLINE handles the PTT keying from three radios to one amplifier. We also have a two-input, two-output combiner-splitter DXE-KEYLINE-DUAL, if that fills your needs. Each keying input of this device is guarded with a separate 45V 2A Schottky diode, providing ground-on-transmit isolation between each rig keying line. Therefore, this combiner will keep the load or voltage of any one device from affecting the others. This device is passive, meaning that it requires no power to function. It is not a transistor buffer and it has no relays. The DX Engineering Transceiver Key Line Combiner DXE-3RIGKEYLINE allows two or three ground-on-transmit keying lines inputs to key this unit's single output. It's another handy device that can be used in lots of ham shacks and it's a great gift item for the Amateur Radio operator who has everything… except one of these gems!

DX Engineering Transceiver to Amplifier Interface Cables
DX Engineering Transceiver to Amplifier Interface Cables support automatic band changing using band data, TTL or serial data, and are used to connect specific amplifier models to many modern transceivers. These cables have specially wired connectors to provide transceiver frequency information or general band data to the amplifier for automatic band changing. Most do not have a PTT amplifier keying line. Cables must be selected by amplifier model and transceiver brand and model: DXE-OMAUTO-RS232 connects OM Power Automatic Tuning Amplifiers to transceivers with RS-232C CAT or COM ports, including Yaesu, TenTec, Elecraft and Kenwood (FlexRadio requires additional serial USB adapter). DXE-2000 series cables are only for the Acom 2000A models DXE-ACOMSS series cables are only for Acom Solid State 2020S, 1200S, 700S, 500S and legacy 600S (replacing original DXE-600 series cables). DXE-ACOMSS-101, DXE-ACOMSS-YSU10 and DXE-ACOMSS-YSU8 cables carry PTT keying as well as Band Data, but they do not support Acom 04AT, 06AT or 20AT Tuner automatic operations, which require DXE-ACOMSS-YSU. Most interface cables carry only CI-V, CAT or COM frequency data, but not transceiver PTT to amplifier keying signal (ground on transmit). Automatic band-changing amplifiers that are interfaced with frequency data cables require a separate keying line. These have either a special connector to a male RCA, or are a standard male RCA phono patch cable, to handle PTT keying from the transceiver.
