DX Engineering 80 Meter Full Size Quarter Wave Vertical Antennas, model DXE-7580FS-VA-1, are high performance 68 ft. antennas that are tunable to operate over segments of the entire 75/80 meter band with an SWR of 1.5:1 or less!

These antennas are a breakthrough in full size, quarter wave verticals that offer full performance, but don't cost an arm and a leg. Plus, if your neighbors are the slightest bit touchy, these are the antennas for you. Their slim lines can hide in even a small stand of tall trees. Some have even painted these antennas the color that matches the bark of their surrounding trees!

Designed with 6063 corrosion-resistant aluminum tubing and stainless steel hardware, these 80 meter vertical antennas are very durable and attractive. Because of their full size height and tubing size, rope guying is required on these antennas, typically at two levels. They include the DX Engineering standard stainless steel Tilt Base to allow you to walk the antenna up or down with only a few helpers on the rope guys. These inexpensive 80 meter verticals are ideal for phased arrays!

DX Engineering 80 Meter Full Size Quarter Wave Vertical Antennas have a bandwidth that is outstanding—up to 528 kHz under 2:1, depending on your radial field. Your internal tuner can get the SWR down to 1:1 on any DX frequency for maximum power transfer and full performance! Of course, another key to performance is a good ground radial system; we recommend 32 radials, 65 ft. long. Fewer radials will work, but with diminished results.
