DXE-RG-6UFQ cable is ideal for many receiving applications including active or passive HF Amateur Radio and SWL receive antenna arrays and systems, LW and MW magnetic loop antennas, Beverage antennas, over-the-air TV, AM and FM broadcast reception, CATV systems and video distribution and satellite radio installations such as Sirius/XM. In fact, the low-loss characteristic of our RG-6 cable is excellent for digital audio up through microwave frequencies of satellite radio systems!

Our RG-6 flooded quad shield cable has gas-injected polyethylene foam dielectric for the lowest loss and maximum moisture resistance. With an 18 AWG copper-clad steel center conductor it is extremely strong and durable. Two foil shields plus two high-density aluminum braids provide ultimate four-layer RF shielding. The waterproof UV protected black jacket is made with a tough and flexible polyethylene (PE). This cable is infused with a flooding compound that provides a permanent barrier to moisture and is self-healing to minor cuts. The nominal impedance of DXE-RG-6UFQ cable is 75 ohms with a nominal Velocity Factor of 82% (VF = 0.82). The minimum bend radius is 2.500 in.

Losses at 1.8 MHz are virtually insignificant over several hundreds of feet of this coaxial cable. It can be used for low band receive antennas and arrays without the complications of using a preamp at the antenna.
