DX Engineering RG-8X High Visibility Orange 50-ohm Bulk Coaxial Cable

DX Engineering RG-8X High Visibility Orange 50-ohm Bulk Coaxial Cable is one of the most flexible high-quality low-loss coaxial cables on the market. DXE-8XV features a stranded copper 16 AWG center conductor, gas injected foam dielectric, with a braided copper shield and a non-contaminating, highly water-resistant Type II-A PVC direct-bury orange colored jacket. This cable is intended for most low, medium and medium-high power HF operations in base, mobile and especially in portable applications where short runs, flexibility and visibility are key factors.

NOTE: DXE-8XV Orange will fade with continuous sunlight UV exposure. Color delivered can vary.

DX Engineering DXE-8XV Orange Jacket Coax has the same industry standard specifications as DXE-8X black jacket coax. DXE-8X is the coax cable most often used for jumpers in the shack and for medium length cables for portable operations, offering significantly better handling characteristics than larger cables, excellent shielding, and lower loss than slightly smaller RG-58.

DXE-8XV orange coax is a 0.242 in. diameter cable that can be terminated with standard PL-259 or Type-N connectors and UG-176S reducing adapters (connectors and reducers sold separately).
