EA4TX RemoteBox Universal Antenna Switch Controllers
EA4TX RemoteBox Universal Antenna Switch Controllers are extremely versatile devices that provide automated control of remote antenna switches of many designs. Local and remote control antenna selections are supported with PC software via USB and with band data interfaced transceivers. Specific RemoteBox models are available to control several different remote antenna switch configurations. They work with one-of-eight DX Engineering DXE-RR8B-HP and DXE-RR8B-SD (1x8), the two-of-eight DXE-RR2X8B (2x8), several different brands of 1x6, 1x8, 2x6 and 2x8 as well as a specially configured RemoteBox to control a 4-element phased array, such as the Comtek Four Square. The EA4TX RemoteBox controller replaces the remote antenna switch manual controller and may be operated by free software and by band data interface cable. The specially produced EA4TX freeware Windows program is called RBM--RemoteBox Manager. It is provided on the included CD-ROM and is also available by download. It accommodates PC local or remote control and band data setup selections. The RemoteBox front panel LCD displays programmable antenna names and facilitates manual selections. Automatic antenna selections are programmed with the software. The RBM program can also read and analyze messages from Win-Test and N1MM networks, providing centralized control of SO2R and Multi-Two contest operations. The RemoteBox will not allow the selection of the same antenna on both radios of a two radio system. The EA4TX RemoteBox is not a simple antenna switch controller. Since it can be controlled by a computer, it is the perfect choice for Remote Antenna control. A user supplied micro-PC can interface for Internet control. In addition, with transceiver band data interface cables in place, the RemoteBox reads the selected band and automatically switches to the correct antenna. This type of simplified station automation eliminates the possibility of human errors. Band Data input is supported by user built cables; a single cable for 1x4, 1x6 and 1x8 models and two cables for 2x6 and 2×8 models. Connected transceivers automatically select the correct antenna by assigned band memory. Software selection of Yaesu or Elecraft BCD for any HF band, or ICOM voltage band data for major bands, is supported. The EA4TX RemoteBox Manager software zip file download is linked on the detail page. Click "More Detail" below for additional information about this innovative antenna switch control system. Bring new functionality and flexibility to your station with easily implemented automation and computer control of your remote antenna switches. Order the appropriate EA4TX RemoteBox Universal Antenna Switch Controller that works for your system from DX Engineering.

EA4TX ARSCU Yaesu AC Rotator Controllers
EA4TX ARSCU Yaesu AC Rotator Controllers are a specialized direct replacement control box for Yaesu AC rotators with the upgrade of a direct USB connection for PC control of the rotator by a third-party logging, a rotator control program, or by the EA4TX program, ARSVCOM. It is the ideal solution for remote control of motors via the Internet. ARSCU Yaesu AC is a special controller version based on the ARS-USB, which includes a 12VDC to 24VAC inverter module. It can be operated on emergency power, battery power or an existing 13.8 VDC shack power supply. It is designed to directly control AC voltage Yaesu rotator units, including models: • G-250 • G-400, G400RC • G-450A, G-450C, G450XL (The Yaesu G-450A was a very popular AC unit in the USA) • G500A, G550 (elevation models) • G-600, G-600RC • G-650A, G-650C NOTE: If you have the newer G-450ADC, see the EA4TX ARSCU Yaesu DC It works with rotators that use 3-wire (standard) or 2-wire potentiometers. It has also been tested with other motors that operate at 24VAC such as the create RC5A. The ARSCU Yaesu AC has the same rear panel 6-pin connector as on a Yaesu controller, compatible with Yaesu AC rotators. For rotators that do not use this connector, there is an internal 6-pin terminal where the control cable can be connected, so it can be used with other AC rotators that operate on 24VAC. The popular ARSVCOM program download is free, which provides a friendly user interface in Windows. It has a USB port with a Yaesu GS232A compatible interface, so it is supported by any program. The software and USB drivers can be downloaded from this link: https://ea4tx.com/sdm_downloads/cd-rom-ars-usb-yaesu/ The calibration system is very powerful and simple and allows the adjustment of the motor limit switches between any point and with ramp start/stop. The ARSCU YAESU AC, like the standard ARS-USB, includes a utility that allows you to download firmware with new versions through the same USB port. Thanks to this utility, it is not necessary to change Eproms, or expensive tools to update the Flash. It is also possible to use rotator motors that only use 2 wires for the potentiometer, as is the case with some models that do not use Pin #1.

EA4TX Interlock Device Interface Cables
EA4TX Interlock Device Interface Cables are optional cables for connecting Yaesu and Elecraft transceivers. They are 119 in. in length. The EA4TX Interlock supports five radios (R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5) and it can be configured as M/S or M/2 so the unit will monitor that only one (M/S) or two (M/2) signals are on air. In case of an inadvertent rules violation, the interlock unit activates an inhibit signal that will be used by the connected radio to STOP the errant transmission. Yaesu and Elecraft K3 are radios that are built to accept this inhibit signal, so interface with the interlock is simple with these cables.
