EAntenna Sloper Antennas
The EAntenna Slopers are shortened with a coil to reduce the antenna length, but behave like quarter-wave sloper antennas. Like any Sloper antenna, it is directional with a low angle for excellent long range DX results. Directivity is away from the supporting metal mast or tower, toward the lower end of the sloper. If a non-metallic vertical support is used for the sloper, an additional vertical wire counterpoise is required. The antenna wire is 2mm (approx. 12 AWG) with UV-resistant insulation for durability. This antenna does not include a balun, but use with a feedline choke, line isolator, or coax bead choke is recommended to achieve the desired results. These antennas are rated for 2 kW CW. The EAntenna EASLP160S achieves a considerable 2:1 SWR bandwidth of 75 kHz. The EAntenna EASLP80S achieves a respectable 2:1 SWR bandwidth of 210 kHz. The assembly and deployment of this antenna is simple. The feedpoint of the antenna is attached to the mast or tower at the minimum height listed below, or higher, if possible, for better results. If supported by a tree, this antenna requires a grounded vertical wire counterpoise, in addition to the coax feedline. With antenna support rope, extend the insulated end to a support a minimum of 10 ft. above the ground. This antenna is preset to the bottom of the band. Adjust to higher frequencies within the band with 5 cm (2 in.) cuts for gradual changes while using an antenna analyzer. In just 5 minutes you can prune the antenna to cover the desired portion of the band. EAntenna Single Band Dipole
The EAntenna EA60JR Dipole is designed as a mono-band antenna for 60 meter, which also functions on the 15 meter band. It has an overall length of 16 meters (52.5 ft.) when installed as an Inverted-V; and a bandwidth over 100 kHz of 60 meters and over 500 KHz on 15 meters with a minimum SWR of 1.1:1 at 5330 kHz when installed at 10 meters (33 ft.) above ground. Maximum power is 1.5 kW continuous. Adjust the EAntenna EA60JR Dipole antenna resonance by 50 kHz with a 5 cm (2 in.) cut on each end of the dipole. All our antennas are computer designed and optimized, based on NEC2 and NEC4 engine. Each model is tested for reliability before it is marketed, to ensure optimum antenna performance for each customer installation. Antennas are measured to the millimeter with precision equipment. Baluns are manufactured in aeronautical-grade 6082 T5 aluminum. The Amphenol SO-239 UHF female connector is manufactured with the best materials, including ceramic dielectric for high power handling. The dipole antennas feature the best HF wire available, Flex Weave, 2mm 2 (AWG 14), terminated to a polyamide insulator capable of use within the extreme temperature range (-90 degrees to +70 ° degrees C).
