Firestik Antenna Company Hobby Hubs

Firestik Antenna Company Hobby Hubs allow for the user to experiment with counterpoise layouts, or to design a discone antenna. This hub is made from a 0.100" thick sheet of steel with a inner diameter of 3.5" and an outer diameter of 5". The hole in the center of the plate is 0.5" to accept standard 3/8-24" stud mounts and there are 8 ears around the outside that are 0.75" away from the center circle. Each of the ears has two 0.170" holes to use #10 machine screws to mount a counterpoise field to the plate.
