Icom AH-6 Compact Remote Automatic Antenna Tuners

Icom AH-6 Compact Remote Automatic Antenna Tuners are a lightweight, weather-resistant automatic tuner designed to provide reliable multiband operation from 1.8 to 54 MHz. Compatible with both long-wire antennas and 50-ohm antennas such as verticals and dipoles, the AH-6 offers exceptional installation flexibility for fixed, portable, and field operations. Its compact design is approximately 50% smaller and lighter than the Icom AH-730, making it an ideal choice where space and weight are important considerations. With fully automatic tuning activated directly from a connected Icom transceiver, the AH-6 typically achieves a match in just 2 to 3 seconds and stores up to 200 tuning memories for near-instant retuning on previously used frequencies. During the tuning process, RF output is reduced to approximately 0.3 watts, minimizing interference to nearby stations. Built with a rugged IP54-rated enclosure that resists dust, water, and harsh outdoor conditions, the AH-6 is well suited for permanent outdoor installations. It supports input power up to 120 watts and includes a 32.8 ft. OPC-1465 control cable along with mounting hardware for easy installation. Whether you're building a compact HF station, installing a remote wire antenna, or seeking a versatile tuner for portable operation, the Icom AH-6 delivers fast, dependable automatic antenna matching across multiple amateur bands.

ICOM AH-730 Antenna Tuners

ICOM AH-730 Antenna Tuners automatically tune any long-wire antenna that measures 23 feet or longer with a suitable ground plane for portable or mobile operation on the 160–6 Meters Amateur Radio bands. The "PTT tune" function provides for simple operation when band-changing and supports remote control from ICOM transceivers. High-speed automatic tuning only takes 2-3 seconds. However, when re-tuning to the same frequency, matching is achieved in as little as 1 second because of its built-in 45 memory slots that store minimum SWR settings. The AH-730 emits a low 0.3 Watts of RF output from the antenna during a tuning operation, minimizing the risk of interference to other stations during a matching operation. The AH-730 features a high-strength resin case that protects internal components from the elements and is certified to IPX4 splash protection standards. Coaxial and control cable connections are now on the exterior of the box, eliminating the need to open the case. Accessories Included: * 32 ft.
