InnovAntennas 50-LFA-4-LN 4-Element 50 MHz Yagi
InnovAntennas 50-LFA-4-LN 4-Element 50 MHz Yagi was specifically designed for city use in noisy environments. This Loop-Fed model is optimized for front-to-back performance on relatively short boom of 11.15 ft. (3.40 meters), to reject as much local noise as possible. This antenna offers very good forward gain of 9.4 dBi (14.9 dBi at 10m above ground), and an exceptional 32 dB front-to-back rating, and SWR less than 1.4:1 across the 50-50.5 MHz range. The low profile LFA dipole achieves a significant reduction of noise, allowing clear reception of much weaker signals, a key component of operational improvements and success. The 50-LFA-4-N includes a center mount boom to mast clamp for up to 2 inch masts (50mm) and is a sleek 1.77 sq. ft. wind load, making this beam ideal for typical 6 meter stations. It is also excellent for stacking to maximize gain, especially when available space restricts the use of a longer boom Yagi. It features a 1.25 in. (32mm) 16-guage square aluminum tubing boom for rugged reliability and low weight. This antenna is made with 1/2 inch (12.7mm) element center sections and 3/8 inch (9.525mm) for the outer elements. The antenna has fully insulated elements which will ensure continuous, high performance for many years to come, regardless of the weather conditions. The introduction of the loop-shaped and phase-fed dipole achieves considerably fewer side lobes in the Yagi directional pattern. With less energy absorbed from the sides and from behind, these antennas are quieter than typical 4 element beams to achieve a higher 6 meter performance level. The 50 MHz Monoband LFA Yagis from G0KSC represent a significant advancement in the development of Yagi antennas. They provide a low-noise front-end for your radio, so you hear more signals. This compact 4-element 50 MHz LFA provides stunning performance across the important section of the 6m band, 50.0 - 50.5 MHz. With a direct 50 Ohm feedpoint, no matching losses and suppression of unwanted noise, InnovAntenna 50-LFA-4-N is hard to beat!

InnovAntennas OP-DES 50 MHz Yagi Antennas
InnovAntennas OP-DES 50 MHz Yagi Antennas are a relatively new development from InnovAntennas. OP-DES stands for Opposing Phase Driven Element System, in which the ends of the dipole radiator of these antennas is angled backwards towards the reflector, parallel to the boom. This results in opposing phase relationships in the ends of the driven element, providing a very clean directional pattern with few side lobes. The OP-DES Yagi has optimized gain over a wide frequency range, while retaining a good front-to-back ratio. The driven element dipole of an OP-DES antenna has a low impedance of 50 ohms. This eliminates the need for matching elements or a transformer balun. For this reason, the antenna is offered without a balun, but an RF choke balun made of ferrites on coax should be used at the feedpoint terminal studs. With the coaxial cable directly connected to the driven element dipole, well over full legal limit power levels are possible. Like all InnovAntennas Yagis, the OP-DES 50MHz antennas are extremely robustly constructed; the larger model uses truss cables for the boom. All elements of the antenna use high quality aluminum, the clamps and screws are made of stainless steel. The supplied mast clamp is designed for masts up to 2 in. (50mm) diameter. Application Description Monoband Yagis are often used at contest stations, or when you want to use only one band for a certain time, for example to focus on a specific target during sunspot minimum. Another advantage of monoband antennas are the stacking possibilities, i.e. the arrangement of two or more identical antennas properly spaced from each other. InnovAntennas Yagis provide all the necessary technical specifications, so there is no guesswork about the stack spacing. The InnovAntennas OP-DES 50 MHz Yagis are designed through careful numerical optimizations to provide excellent gain with good bandwidth. As a result, a low SWR of 1.1:1 is achieved in the frequency range of 50.0 - 50.6 MHz (6-element) or 50.0 - 51.35 MHz (5-element). The experience of the developer Justin, G0KSC ensure superior operations with these antennas in practice, often supported by a lively exchange between users. TECHNICAL DATA InnovAntennas OP-DES 50 MHz Yagi (Monoband) Antenna Mast Mount: Center Antenna Type Directional Antenna Band 6m Power Handling: 5000 W Polarization: Horizontal Balun Included: No Mast Diameter Max.: 2.00 in. InnovAntennas 144 MHz OWL Ultra Yagi Antennas
InnovAntennas 144 MHz OWL Ultra Yagi Antennas offer the 2 meter weak-signal enthusiast undeniable low-noise performance with amazing SWR bandwidth, particularly good gain and an excellent front-to-back ratio. Five Optimized Wideband Low-impedance (OWL) Ultra Yagi antennas are available, starting with six element up through ten element models. InnovAntennas' OWL Ultra Yagi beams have been extensively numerically simulated and optimized using special software that includes a 3D simulation of the boom, the insulators, the connector and the cable; an elaborate numerical simulation of these antennas that was inconceivable a decade before. InnovAntenna has achieved the best of what is technically possible for a wideband 2 meter Yagi. The boom of the 144 MHz OWL Ultra Yagi is 1 in. (25mm) square aluminum featuring through-the-boom insulated elements. The adjustable center fed folded dipole has the side opposite the 50 ohm feedpoint connected to the boom, which removes static charge to protect the transceiver. This antenna acts like a band-pass and noise filter outside the 2 meter band, due to rapidly rising impedance. However, the most important feature of OWL Ultra Yagi antenna is optimization for reduced side lobe in the elevation plane, achieving dramatically reduced received noise, even in high ambient noise city locations. The InnovAntennas OWL Ultra Yagis are suitable for all "weak signal modes" on the low end of the 2 meter band due to the optimization for high gain with incredibly low noise for EME, Meteor Scatter, Tropo-DX, Sporadic-E, etc. Despite the robust construction (the antennas can withstand wind speeds of up to 100 mph (160 km/h), the Yagis are still relatively light and thus suitable for smaller masts or for stacking several antennas. The OWL Ultra Yagis do not include a balun, as the coaxial cable connects directly to the loop driven element dipole. The antenna can handle 5 kW, but the recommended choke balun handles a maximum power of approx. 1.0 to 1.5 kW is possible. Exceptionally good SWR is achieved over a wide frequency range. With excellent gain to noise ratios (G/T ratio), the economical InnovAntennas OWL Ultra Yagis are well suited for use in stacked arrays, for EME, satellite or terrestrial operations. Each model listing describes the key benefits of the OWL Ultra Yagi Antennas. Your antenna is a part of your receiver and arguably the most important part of your station. You have spent thousands on radio equipment; make sure you don't short-change your set-up by choosing anything other than an InnovAntennas OWL Ultra Yagi.
