InnovAntennas VertiGO HF Vertical Antennas

InnovAntennas VertiGO HF Vertical Antennas cover multiple bands when fed as a non-resonant radiator using a remote antenna tuner mounted at the base. They can also be fed directly as a monoband vertical and are typically and most easily installed as a ground-mounted vertical, depending on the location and the support. To achieve the matching required by modern transceivers and amplifiers, other shortened vertical radiators use traps or coils but, those components contribute to losses; power lost as heat. InnovAntennas VertiGO Antennas radiate on all bands along their entire length. Radials are required for efficient operation of any HF vertical; 16 or more ground radials are better, where their length isn't critical. A remote tuner installed at the base of the antenna provides maximum efficiency and the best performance on the bands indicated. Higher frequencies will tune but higher angle patterns will limit performance. A ferrite bead choke should be used at the remote tuner on the coaxial cable from the station to prevent it from radiating and collecting RF noise. VertiGO Vertical Antennas from InnovAntennas are available in three different height versions, each with rugged aluminum tubing sections, swaged and slit at the top for the element clamps. Brackets and clamps are included for mounting to a user supplied support pipe.
