Larsen BSA-KIT Base Station Antenna Kit
Larsen BSA-KIT Base Station Antenna Kit is a special mount and bracket that converts a VHF or UHF mobile antenna into a base station antenna. The antenna connector is a UHF mount and the kit includes an NMO mount adapter, so either type of mobile antenna mount style may be converted to base operations. The underside of the mount is an integral SO-239 connector for the user supplied coaxial cable. The BSA-KIT includes four 21 in. x 0.070 in. rods that secure into the four corners of the mount with hex set screws using the supplied hex key. The rods provide the proper ground plane function for any of the mobile antennas that work in the 144 to 512 MHz range. The sturdy mounting bracket has two 0.25 in. holes for wall or vertical surface mounting and four notches to provide secure mounting with the provided band clamps on a pole or mast up to 2 in. O.D. Larsen 27-30 MHz Mobile Whip Antennas are great for 10 or 11 meter use. These base-loaded antennas are a maximum 52.5 in. tall at 27 MHz and require cutting to frequency. Larsen LSN-NMOHFMID Middle Thickness NMO Mounts
Larsen LSN-NMOHFMID Middle Thickness NMO Mounts are valuable for antenna installations requiring surface mounting applications in thicker sheet metal. These are great mounts for high frequency, VHF or UHF antennas. They are very suitable for hams using 0.0 to 6,000 MHz. They function very well on the medium frequency bands when used with suitable antennas. Their center pin is removable to allow functionality as a standard or high frequency mount. These permanent mounts require a 0.75 in. diameter hole in flat surfaces from 0.761mm up to 5.9mm (0.232 in.) thick. They are fine for use in vehicular sheet metal as thin as 0.03 in. thick. RG-58/U coax is the correct cable for use with these mounts. Coaxial cable is not included.
