LDG Electronics Z-100A Automatic Antenna Tuners

The LDG Electronics Z-100A Automatic Antenna Tuner comes with a standard DC cable for use with any transceiver, and three of the most popular transceiver interface cables. Z-100A tuners feature LDG's famous 10:1 SWR tuning range that matches Dipoles, Verticals, End-Fed Half-Waves (EFHW), G5RVs and even Off Center Fed dipoles and Windham antennas. Easy integration with dozens of modern transceivers means plug-and-play operation could not be simpler. The updated compact and lightweight tuner goes anywhere with any HF radio—desktop, portable, parks, islands, or tall summits. The Z-100A Automatic Antenna Tuner works with all HF radios up to 125 watts RF output (30 watts digital) and can be interfaced with dozens of modern transceivers. An interface cable isn't required for semi-automatic operation. Whether or not the Z-100A tuner is interfaced with the transceiver, it has an internal frequency counter and 2,000 memories to store each operating frequency with antenna tuning parameters. Memory retuning occurs in only 100 milliseconds, with the initial full tuning cycle requiring an average of only 6 seconds. For use with radios that are not control interfaced, including Elecraft and FlexRadio, supply DC to the Z-100A tuner with the IC-104 cable. Simply key up the radio with a low power carrier, push the TUNE button on the Z-100A, and the built-in frequency counter initiates the tuning cycle. Also included with the LDG-Z-100A are three interface cables that are compatible with many modern Yaesu and Icom transceivers. Here is a listing of interface cables, compatible transceivers and how the tuner functions with each group of transceivers: - Press TUNE Button on Radio or Tuner – Interface keys radio automatically: IC-100 Cable (included) - ICOM AH-3 or AH-4 Compatible (See Navigation at LDG-IC-100 for listing of applicable ICOM models) - Press Button on Tuner – Interface keys the radio at low power automatically: IC-108 Cable (included with LDG-Z-100A) - Yaesu FT-710, FT-891, FT-991A, FT-991, FT-857/D, -897/D, -100/D IC-109 Cable (included with LDG-Z-100A) - Yaesu FTdx10, FTDX-1200, FT-950, FT-450 (10-pin mini-DIN LINEAR Port must be used on these models) IC-115 Cable (optional) - Yaesu FTDX-101D, FTDX-3000 IC-105 Cable (optional)- Alinco EDX-2 Compatible, DX-70, DX-77 - Key Radio (low power carrier) and Press Button on Tuner: IC-106 Cable (optional)- KENWOOD AT-300 Compatible (See Applications tab for all Kenwood models) IC-105 Cable (optional)- ALINCO SR8T, SR9T - Power Only – Key Radio (low power carrier) and Press Button on Tuner for semi-automatic tuning operation with any HF transceiver up to 125W SSB/CW, 30W Digital: IC-104 Cable (Included with LDG-Z-100A) - Power, Ground, Key, Start LDG Electronics Z-100A Automatic Antenna Tuner Specifications: Frequency Range: 1.8 to 54MHz Power: 125W PEP SSB and CW, 30W Digital (including FT8, RTTY, etc.) Input Impedance: 50-ohm Connectors: SO-239/UHF Female Tuning Range: 10:1 SWR, 3:1 on 6M Memories: 2000 Retune Time: Less than 1.0 second Voltage: 13.8VDC +/-15% Current Draw: 500mA tuning, 20mA idle Dimensions (WHD): 6.30 x 1.50 x 6.30in., 160 x 40 x 160mm Weight: 1.50lbs., 680g LDG continues to set new standards for auto-tuners and accessories in amateur radio service.
