Par EndFedz end-fed half wave antennas can energize the radiator nearly as well as a center-fed dipole antenna. The single- and multi-band antennas feature a coaxial connection at the end of the cable, and they can be mounted vertically, horizontally or as a sloper. Plus, they do not need a ground plane or counterpoise. While they perform well in fixed station operation, they excel in portable applications. Simply hang the antenna from a tree limb, out a window or use a fiberglass pole to suspend it high into the air.
