REZ Antenna Systems Ranger 80 II™ HF Tuning Coils
REZ Antenna Systems Ranger 80 II™ HF Tuning Coils are a base-loaded vertical coil designed for portable HF operations. It supports rapid deployment and is suitable for use in POTA, Field Day, and emergency communications. These antenna tuning coils are precision-machined in the USA from high-grade materials and operate from 80 to 6 meters when paired with a telescoping whip extended to at least 9.3 feet (sold separately). It supports up to 200 watts SSB and 100 watts digital (50% duty cycle). The updated Ranger 80 II™ features integrated radial ports and improved weather resistance and will accept up to eight 4mm banana plugs for fast, secure radial wire connections—no fumbling, just plug in and get on the air. The antenna coil mounts to a ground spike or [z]Pod™ (sold separately) using standard 3/8-24 hardware, making it compatible with many industry-standard mounting accessories for ultimate flexibility.

REZ Antenna Systems Ranger 80 HF Coil Assembly is the heart of this portable antenna system. This is a super rugged base-loaded adjustable tuning coil that is 'hands down' the best on the market. Made with CNC machined parts from premium materials, the Delrin body, black anodized 6061 aluminum base and top with all stainless steel hardware makes the Ranger 80 ready to take on any environment, any time. Its unique manual-tune sliding coil tap collar features a large contact area for worry-free power handling of 200W SSB and CW and 100W Digital (at 50% duty cycle). Along with its handy SO-239 connector, the heavy-duty coil base comes with the REZ Radial Puck with eight 4mm holes for pre-assembled radials with banana jacks for super-fast setup.
