REZ Antenna Systems Scout XFORM Antenna Kits are designed to get you up and running fast. Based on the Scout XF Base, these versatile kits contain the parts you need to set up portable antennas in the field for portable operations. Each kit provides the building blocks to set the XFORM antenna system up in a variety of ways. What type of antenna you can set up with each kit is varied but comes with the parts to set up at least a vertical and a delta loop. The REZ Antenna Systems SXF-41KIT1 includes: the REZ Ranger Pro backpack, the REZ Scout XF mounting base, the XFORM 4:1 UNUN, the REZ Multi Mount, the REZ Ground Spike, the REZ common mode feedline choke, two REZ 17-foot Stainless Steel telescopic whips, and the REZ Delta Loop Antenna Wire kit. The REZ Antenna Systems SXF-41KIT2 includes: The REZ Scout XF mounting base, the XFORM 4:1 UNUN, the REZ Multi Mount, two REZ 17-foot Stainless Steel telescopic whips, and the REZ Delta Loop Antenna Wire kit. The REZ Antenna Systems SXF-41KIT3 includes: the REZ Scout XF mounting base, the XFORM 4:1 UNUN, the REZ Multi Mount, the REZ common mode feedline choke, two REZ 17-foot Stainless Steel telescopic whips, and the REZ Delta Loop Antenna Wire kit The heart of these REZ antenna kits is the Scout XF mounting base, which is designed to connect your coax to the rest of the XFORM system. Featuring a pair of 3/8x24 studs, a ring for hanging the Scout and coupling nuts, this versatile mounting base allows for your antenna to be oriented in multiple ways. Connection points along the base allow for easy attachment of radials. The REZ XFORM 4:1 UNUN mounts to the top of the Scout XF mounting base and adds a 4:1 transformer to the antenna system. This is useful when setting the antenna up as a delta loop or a Rybakov Vertical. Gaskets on the UNUN allow for sealing against inclement weather. The REZ Multi mounts allow for attaching the Scout XF base to the Ground Spike or a tripod. Providing three 3/8x24 threaded holes on the top, one horizontal, and two at 45-degree angles opposite each other as well as a 3/8x16 and a 1/4x20 for mounting on a REZ Ground Spike or the REZ [Z]Pod Tripod. Comes with a 3/8x24 stud for mounting to the Ground Spike or [Z]Pod Tripod. The REZ Delta Loop Antenna Wire Kits are a 25-foot-long wire that is designed to be paired with a pair of 17-foot stainless steel telescopic whips. Copper clips on each end of the [Z]Kore Kevlar antenna wire provide a solid connection to the telescoping whips, and the wire stores on a convenient wire winder to keep the wire neat and for easy deployment and storage. The REZ [Z]-17SS Stainless steel whips are 17-foot-long telescopic whips that collapse down to 24 5/8in. Weighing in at 14.4 oz, with a power rating of 1000W PEP, these 17-foot whips are resonant on 20-6 meters by themselves or up through 40 meters with the addition of an XFORM UNUN. The REZ CM7 Common Mode feedline chokes provide a reduction in common mode current that travels back down your coax and causes issues for radiating your signal. These quality feedline chokes help keep the RF radiating from the antenna where you want it and not the coax. The REZ Ranger Pro Backpacks provide a convenient way to carry your REZ antenna system and ancillary gear into the field. Depending on the size of your radio and battery, you may be able to carry your entire portable setup in this backpack. This quality pack makes it easy for organization of all of your portable gear with multiple pockets and Molle webbing for additional attachment points to hold your gear.
