RFcom Portable Counterpoise Wire & Winder Sets

RFcom Portable Counterpoise Wire & Winder Sets are designed for portable antenna deployments and are ideal for POTA, SOTA, Field Day, emergency communications, and other portable operating activities. These convenient kits provide an effective counterpoise or radial system for portable vertical antennas, helping improve antenna efficiency, transmitted signal performance, and receive capability. Available with 32.8 ft. (10m) of either 14 AWG or 20 AWG tinned stranded wire, each kit includes a matching green or orange wire winder for easy deployment, storage, and transport. One end of the wire is fitted with a durable rubber stake ring that allows the wire to be securely anchored with a tent stake during deployment, while the opposite end is terminated with either a 10 mm ring terminal or a banana plug for quick and reliable attachment to a variety of antenna bases. An effective counterpoise is a critical component of many portable vertical antenna installations.
