The PR-D17 boasts excellent radio reception with its built-in 200mm AM ferrite bar antenna and external FM telescopic antenna. Two, 2.5 in. full-range speakers offer the listener an outstanding stereo audio experience and 10 station presets (5 AM, 5 FM) allow the user to save their favorites.
The Sangean PR-D17 features two alarm timers with snooze that will wake you to the radio station of your choice or a buzzer to make sure you are not late for work and the HWS (Humane Waking System) starts the buzzer or radio alarm output with a soft, low volume and then gradually increases.
