SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Component Kits
SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Kits are used for the WSPRlite Classic, WSPRlite Flexi, or for your own QRP transmitter, SDR front-end filter projects or on any receiver. Choose the Low Pass Filter Board and Band Kit components for the specific bands on which you want to use your WSPRlite. Build these high performance seven-element Chebyshev low pass filters to eliminate harmonics and spurs. They function bi-directionally and may be used for QRP transceivers or for receive. Each board features a manual band change jumper header and comes with a SMA male cable to connect to the WSPR lite and a board mount SMA female connector for your antenna feedline adapter or adapter cable. SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Kits are available in four versions. These three have a revised board layout: - SBM-LOWPASSKIT Low Pass Filter Kit for 160, 80 and 40 meters, version 1.2 Board - SBM-LOWPASSKITHB Low Pass Kit for 20, 15 and 10 meters, version 1.2 Board These two include the filter components, connector and one cable. - SBM-PCB3BLPF Low Pass Printed Circuit Board only, version 1.2 Board. This kit includes only the board, SMA connector and one cable. Add to your cart the specific component Band Kits for the bands you want to use. All 11 bands are available from 160-6 meters. After you finish building one of these three boards, it fits into the updated accessory enclosure model DXE-LPFV1-2-CASE. NOTE: These three version 1.2 Boards DO NOT fit into the DXE-SB-LPF-CASE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - SBM-LPFKITDXEPCB Low Pass Filter Kit for 160, 80 and 40 meters, version 1.1 Board. This kit includes band filter components, connector and one cable with the old PCB. When this v1.1 kit completed, it is the only board that fits into the original DXE-SB-LPF-CASE. (NOTE: This v1.1 board does not fit into the updated DXE-LPFV1-2-CASE which fits only v1.2 boards). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy and build more than one SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Component Kits to use your WSPRlite Classic or WSPRlite Flexi on more than three bands. Don't forget to add the adapters shown in suggested parts. These low pass filters also work on QRP transmitters and all receivers. SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits
SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits are ideal for incorporating into your own designs. However, for additional flexibility these amplifier and enclosure kits have been designed to allow your LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module (not included) to be used with all your favorite radios. They have a professional look that will compliment your shack. BOXA-DUAL enclosures have laser-cut gold panels which screw into a rugged extruded aluminum case. BOXA-DUAL kits consist of a PCB that the filter module (not included) plugs into; together with an audio amplifier. The front panel features the CW Tuning LED (Sig) and Overload LED (Lvl) as well as a bandwidth switch (W/N) and volume control (Vol). The rear panel has 3.5 mm stereo jacks for audio in and out as well as a power jack for a DC supply (5-15 Volts). Power input is via a standard 2.1 mm power plug (supplied). The board will drive headphones or a small speaker. By changing two resistors, audio output can be increased up to 1.5 Watts which will drive a larger speaker. Because the filter module is a plug-in unit you can swap between different LASERBEAM-DUAL modules depending on your application. These kits use all through-hole components and are an easy build for a beginner. Build time is about 30 minutes. IMPORTANT NOTES: These kits: * Include amplifier and enclosure * Do not include a LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module * Are not suitable for LASERBEAM-VARI or LASERBEAM-817 filter modules Are you thinking about a LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module? If so, have a look at these SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits from DX Engineering!

SOTAbeams Click2Tune Easy Tuning Dongle for Yaesu FT-817, FT-818, FT-857 and FT-897
SOTAbeams Click2Tune Easy Tuning Dongle for Yaesu FT-817, FT-818, FT-857 and FT-897 makes keying the radio and using a tuner a snap! If you use one of these Yaesu transceivers with an antenna tuner, you've noticed the lack of simple way to quickly send a carrier for tuning. To do so requires a change of mode. Given the slightly clunky user interface on these radios, sending a tone at the desired power level can require several key presses. It's annoying in the shack and can be very frustrating in the field. This is especially troubling if you are using a narrow-banded magnetic loop that needs frequent retuning as you traverse the band. The Click2Tune Easy Tuning Dongle makes the tuning process so much easier! This tiny dongle contains a sophisticated microprocessor that plugs into the back of your radio. Once set up, tuning just requires a double click of the microphone PTT switch to send a carrier; that's all. Brilliant! With the FT-857 and FT-897 you can tune at low power, as the Click2Tune allows you to select the tuning mode. You are able to tune at 25 watts--especially important for protecting auto-tuners. By the way, it is the same Click2Tune Dongle that can be used on all of these radios; you don't need different types. The SOTAbeams Click2Tune Easy Tuning Dongle for Yaesu FT-817, FT-818, FT-857 and FT-897 is a very useful accessory that is sure to make your mobile and portable operating easier!

SOTAbeams Click2Tune Transceiver Keying Switches
SOTAbeams Click2Tune Transceiver Keying Switches are the answer for effortless ICOM low-power tuning. If you use one of many ICOM HF radios with an antenna tuner or amplifier you have noticed the lack of any convenient way to send a low-power carrier for tuning purposes. To do so requires that you to change the mode to AM or FM, reduce the power, and press the PTT. It's annoying in the shack and can be very frustrating in the field. This is all the more of a problem if you use a narrow-band antenna such as a magnetic loop that needs frequent re-tuning. It's also a problem if you use your transceiver with an amplifier. Various "solutions" have been suggested, the most common being a dongle with a capacitor and a resistor. While this works, the tune period is fixed and it will not tune reliably twice in short succession. The fixed tune period is particularly problematic if you use your radio with a high power amplifier, because if you do see a mismatch you'll want to act quickly. Click2Tune for ICOM radios provides you with complete and reliable control. It transmits a low power carrier (user selectable level) without any need to change the mode and for as long as you press the button - YOU are in control. SOTAbeams worked hard on getting the ergonomics right so that it sits nicely in your hand and they even tried three types of buttons before they found one that had the right size and "feel". They are great accessory for any ICOM radio that supports their auto-tuner. Tested on: IC-7300, IC-7100, IC-730, IC-746 (ant. 1), IC-9100 (ant. 1). For example, if your transceiver supports the ICOM AH-4, you'll be good to go! Click2Tune for ICOM is available as a kit. This kit's build time is around 30 minutes. Order DX Engineering part number SBM-CLICK2TUNEKT for the build-it-yourself kit version. In the kit you'll get: * Genuine Molex components * Mil spec 4 wire shielded cable for good RFI performance (1 meter long) * Top quality professional switch * Double-sided professional PCB and other quality parts (total 17 parts) Make it easy to tune your ICOM transceiver on LOW POWER.
