SSB Electronic LNA-5000 50–5000 MHz Wide Band Mast-Mount Preamplifiers increase signal sensitivity for scanners, receivers, and measuring devices. They may also serve as a low-power amplifier or buffer amp. Built with a modern MMIC on a low-loss ceramic microwave substrate, it provides approximately 20 dB gain, a low 2 dB noise figure, excellent large-signal handling with IP3 greater than 30 dBm, and input IP values improved by 20 dB over the previous version. An input amplitude limiter helps protect against electrostatic discharge. The LNA-5000 supports up to 160 mW PEP / 20 dBm output, uses Type-N female connectors, covers 50 to 5000 MHz, and operates from a 10–20 VDC supply either directly through the DC Input UHF female connector or remotely through the RF coax using an optional DCC-5000PRO Bias Tee.
