The Radio Source Lowdown 630-Meter Lowpass Filter makes it possible to explore the 630-meter band with a MARS-modified HF transceiver with the confidence that you will be transmitting a clean signal. This lowpass RF filter is designed to allow you to use your existing equipment to transmit on the 630-meter band with a signal that meets FCC requirements for harmonic and spurious emissions. Install this filter at the output of your Amateur Radio transceiver using 50-ohm coaxial cable and PL-259 connectors. It mitigates harmonics and spurious emissions above the 472-479 kHz (630m) band. Remove the plastic caps that cover the coaxial connectors. The filter may be installed with either end connected to the transceiver or to the antenna system. For indoor use only.
