Werewolf VFLEX Starter Kits
Werewolf VFLEX Starter Kits include everything to start making use of the VFLEX Adapter system. This kit includes 3 VFLEX Base modules, The Adapter Pack 1 and Adapter Pack 2 kits and a convenient storage case with foam cutouts that provide secure storage for the parts of the kit. The VFLEX Base is the heart of the VFLEX system, allowing you to connect a USB-C power adapter, such as one that comes with a laptop or a cell phone to a device that you own that still receives it's power from a barrel connector. Utilizing a cellphone or computer, the user can set the output voltage of the VFLEX Base, provided that the USB-C Power Supply can supply the voltage and amperage requested via USB-PD. Once the VFLEX Base is configured to provide the voltage that the device needs, a cable is plugged into the opposite side and then plugged into the device that needs power. Different cables support different devices, and selecting the cable is as simple as matching the diameter of the plug and off you go. A single tri-color LED on the VFLEX Base provides the tatus of the connection to a device on the USB-C side. The VFLEX Base is configurable for 3.3 to 48V, if the power supply you are using supports it. The VFLEX Base will work with any power supply that can negotiate voltage via USB-C Power Delivery. Additionally, this kit contains nine adapter cables that are also included in the Adapter Pack 1 and Adapter Pack 2 kits. These cables cover the most common barrel plug sizes. Seven of the cables are wired for center positive and two of them are wired for center negative (this is denoted by a red tip on the cable.) The two cables that are wired this way allow for connection of devices that are wired center negative without needing additional adapters. The storage case comes with space for up to six VFLEX Base devices, plus spaces for all the adapter cables. This hard sided storage case will help keep everything organized. Werewolf USB-C Power Meters
The Werewolf USB-C Power Meters are multi-function meters designed for users that want to know how the stats on a device powered by USB-C. These compact meters feature a USB-C Male connector on one side and a USB-C female connector on the other. Simply connect it inline and it will power itself via the USB-C connection, displaying vital information such as the voltage, amperage, current wattage, time elapsed, current drain, current direction, and the maximum voltage, amperage and wattage that was recorded in this session. With the push of a button located on the rear of the case, that display changes to the current voltage, amperage, wattage, elapsed time, current drain and CPU temperature; double clicking the button flips the display over so that you can read it no matter how it is plugged in, and pressing it and holding the button for three seconds will reset the timer, and maximum measurements. Werewolf VFLEX DIY Bundles
Werewolf VFLEX DIY Bundles allow you to use a standard USB-C wall adaptor to provide power to an item that utilizes a barrel connector. The DIY Bundle comes complete with the VFLEX USB-C base and the DIY Adapter. The VFLEX Base is the heart of the VFLEX system, allowing you to connect a USB-C power adapter, such as one that comes with a laptop or a cell phone to a device that you own that still receives it's power from a barrel connector. Utilizing a cellphone or computer, the user can set the output voltage of the VFLEX Base, provided that the USB-C Power Supply can supply the voltage and amperage requested via USB-PD. Once the VFLEX Base is configured to provide the voltage that the device needs, a cable is plugged into the opposite side and then plugged into the device that needs power. Different cables support different devices, and selecting the cable is as simple as matching the diameter of the plug and off you go. The VFLEX Base will work with any power supply that can negotiate voltage via USB-C Power Delivery. If you already have a wire that is terminated in the barrel connector for your device, you can use the VFLEX DIY Bundle to provide a connection from a USB-C charger to that device. The DIY Bundle comes with a single VFLEX Base and a cable for bare wire termination. Simply connect the wires for the barrel connector to the appropriate terminals and you can now power the device from any USB-C Charger.
