West Mountain Radio TARGETuner Screwdriver Antenna Controllers
West Mountain Radio TARGETuner Screwdriver Antenna Controllers are designed as screwdriver antenna management systems that include motor control for the antenna and frequency sensing for band matching. They are ideal for mobile antennas with a remote control head. TARGETuners sense the RF Signal going to the antenna and will work with any transmitter or transceiver. They do not depend on a radio data link for band selection and do not need to control the radio for activation. TARGETuners provide a digital display of basic transmitter frequency and SWR, as well as manual tuning control options that allow the user to monitor antenna performance and manually adjust the antenna if necessary. These TARGETuner systems continuously monitor transmitter frequency and antenna performance and can adjust the antenna accordingly with vehicle movement, antenna icing, or any other proximity or environmental related antenna detuning effects. They even have an SWR alarm! TARGETuner's RF Sensing Module is remote from the radio controls. This limits RF exposure to other radio and antenna-control components. An industry standard shielded CAT-5 cable serves as interconnect between the TARGETuner RF Sensor Module and TARGETuner Controller. Power is supplied through industry standard PowerPole Connectors for ease of power connection and fusing. West Mountain Radio TARGETuner Controller Mobile Mounting Brackets provide a convenient method of mounting the TARGETuner controller to many surfaces. They use existing TARGETuner case screws for mounting to their associated controller. Surface mounting will require four screws, not included. Recommended size is Number 6 Screw, 3/8 in. long.
